EKOS electric Strengthens South Marmara Energy Grid (August 20, 2025)

Uludağ Electricity Distribution Inc. (UEDAŞ) selected EKOS electric solutions for its energy infrastructure investments across the South Marmara Region. Covering Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, and Yalova, the project supports the energy infrastructure of nearly 3 million subscribers.

Compact Transformer Centers integrated into the field contribute to safer and more sustainable management of the regional distribution network. The solutions were designed to meet not only current energy demand but also future capacity increases.

Operating across a service area of 35,501 km², the systems support uninterrupted energy distribution for industrial facilities and residential zones throughout the region.

With its domestic engineering expertise and field experience, EKOS electric continues contributing to strategic infrastructure projects across Türkiye. The South Marmara investment stands among the region’s important sustainable energy infrastructure projects.
