Main Features
- EKOS Electric manufactures oil-type distribution transformers for the safe and efficient distribution of electrical energy. Its product range encompasses power, distribution, solar, single-phase, grounding, and special-type transformers; solutions tailored to specific applications, site conditions, and project requirements are designed and manufactured in accordance with customer demands and technical specifications.
- EKOS Electric transformers are designed using advanced engineering methods, featuring an Eco-Design (low energy loss) and aiming for high efficiency and a long service life. Analyses regarding magnetic fields, thermal behavior (heating and cooling), and aging are conducted. Through this process, the transformer’s core, windings, insulation, and cooling systems are optimized according to operating conditions.
- The transformers are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60076 standards. Quality measurements and tests are conducted at every stage of production. Our factory continuously enhances its quality system through annual internal audits and inspections by independent external organizations.
- The completed transformers are tested at the Ekos Teknoloji ve Elektrik A.Ş. Testing Laboratory, which complies with international standards and is accredited by TURKAK. A total of 19 different transformer tests—including routine, type, and special tests—can be performed at the laboratory.
